YOIN

In Japanese culture, the word "Yoin" holds profound meaning. Literally, "Yoin" means "echo," or "reverberation," like the sound of glass being struck. Figuratively, the word means an experience that penetrates the imagination, a clear memory held momentarily in the heart.
Reason, Yoin is said to be like a state of mind that is not considered experience, a classmate, a friend, a lover, perhaps a relative who went abroad, went to war, continued his studies, or moved away for a long period of time. The gaze that met, showed sensitivity of feelings. Avoiding eye contact, unspoken words. Yoin that leaves memories and figures that cannot be forgotten a meaningful smile, a blushing face that can answer questions, the soft touch of a special memory, a stiff reunion.
A Japanese person once taught something that seemed almost unambiguous in Japanese language. In fact, there was a slight contradiction that was favored. From that person, I learned the following example. For example, a continuation of 1 to 10 might be a comprehensible situation. For example, a Japanese person might continue their explanation to approximately 6 or 7, leading to imagination. For a Japanese person who talks about ideas/concepts that contain the values mentioned above, this certainly requires further explanation to ensure others understand.
There's another memorable film, Yoin, a good example. This rather old film tells the story of a man suffering from an incurable disease. Before his death, he decides to build a garden for his children. The final scene in the film is him alone on a swing. The final scene of the garden's construction is silent except for the sound of the swing. The camera takes a close-up of the man, showing the swelling that appears in his throat, his eyes that begin to glow, and his nose that begins to bleed.
Who could escape this scene, which depicts warmth and emotion? Thanks to the skillful camerawork, the barely audible sound of the swing is palpable. The deep emotional depth of human experience. The sound of the bells ringing. The echoes of the film have lingered in my friend's memory for years, and the story remains in my memory.
